Later during the day, the aircraft flew from Antwerp to Brussels, where it will be officially based.
The delivery of the Legacy 450 is a very important milestone in the development of the ASL/JetNetherlands group. The aircraft will be operated both on behalf of its owner as well as for commercial charter clients, in close cooperation with Smartair. It is expected to be available for charter within the next couple of months.

It's clean sheet design makes it unique from its current competitors. Some of the unique features of this aircraft include full fly-by-wire controls, the ultra-modern Rockwell-Collins Pro Line Fusion cockpit, a 9 seat stand up cabin with the Honeywell Ovation Select cabin entertainment system, a 2.545 nautical miles range (soon to be expanded to 2.900 nautical miles), a cruising altitude of 45.000 feet at Maximum speed of Mach .83, as well as many other features that makes this aircraft one of the most advanced and comfortable aircraft on the mid size market.
