ASL Beech 200 to relay live images of the Amgen Tour of California
09/05/17 Today, one of ASL's Beech 200 King Air departed from Antwerp in Belgium towards the United States of America where the aircraft and its crew will be relaying live images of the Amgen Tour of California which will take place between May 11 and May 20.
Today, one of ASL's Beech 200 King Air departed from Antwerp in Belgium towards the United States of America where the aircraft and its crew will be relaying live images of the Amgen Tour of California which will take place between May 11 and May 20.
Over the last 5 years, relay flights for various TV stations has become on of the company's specialties.
Recently, ASL relayed live images of the Tour of Qatar, of the Marathon of Paris, of the World Rally Championship and of the Ski Classics.
Before reaching California, the aircraft will be ferried across North Atlantic and will stop in Wick (Scotland), Reykjavik (Iceland), Sondrestrom (Greenland), Iqaluit (Canada), Churchill (Canada), Medicine Hat (Canada) and then Sacramento in California.
